630 Fifth avenue - 16th floor - beazley offices

IDFNY has recently completed the stone installation for Beazley, an insurance specialist located at 630 Fifth Avenue. This space was designed by Verdarme/Cale architecture and managed by Gannon Vitolo Contracting. The beautiful design combination of Nasco's 24x24 Celador laid adjacent to their Tribeca plank tile, creates a pleasing aesthetic flow through the; elevator lobby, reception, entertainment areas and corridor spaces. The custom stone millwork of ceasarstone's calacatta nuvo and fresh concrete add a touch of sophistication and modernism. The elegance in motif continues into the baths with materials provided by; Stonesource, Nemo Tile, Garden State Tile and Artistic Tile are on display. We aim to provide the highest-quality, best ceramic and stone flooring work a company can attain in NYC.

65 E 55th Street - 27th Floor

IDF recently completed a high profile build out at 65 East 55th street on the 27th floor. This work included; the core bathrooms, over 3000 sq ft of porcelain tile at the lobby, reception, hallways and stone tops.

The stone tops were Caesarstone and Fiandre in the new exciting 1/4" thick porcelain slab material. This is new material that requires precision installation and high skill to create mitered edge to ensure a high end finish product. We were especially proud of this project and carried the objective of completing the best ceramic and stone commercial flooring work we could for this company. 

1114 6th Ave - Humanscale

High end job at the Grace building: Lobby and reception area consist of 24"x24" Celador in moon dust color. Thin set installation over anti fracture membrane with self leveling application over concrete floor.

Wide plank wood flooring, glue down installation over self leveling application, at open office and along window areas.

Bathroom Floors: received 24x24 textured grey tile with linear 8"x20" white gloss wall tile, glue type installation. Stone tops are Bianco pure white material with under mount sinks and green glass tile as accent back splash.

Reception desk was fabricated with Calacatta Veneto slabs book match application. Mechanically fastened with clips and epoxy installation. Feature wall was fabricated from Calacatta Statuary 3/4" slabs , installed as book match. This was a fantastic project to work on; we achieved great results and top ceramic and stone flooring work for the Grace building. 

Beautiful tile and marble work done in the home of a new Tacombi Mexican Restaurant. The Dining area sports 8x8 black and white Mexican tile floors. In addition, we installed white wall tiles with lettering in service area behind custom counters tops. The kitchen area has a 6x6 Quarry tile. We also installed Stone tops on the bar and service area, made out of Natural Stone of white Carrara on each side. 

This job included the usage of a variety of floor and wall materials.

On public spaces and platforms, we installed porcelain tiles 8" x 48" that resemble plywood surfaces. On pantry areas, we furnished and installed Ceasarstone tops, vanities, and islands. In addition, counter-tops were complemented with a silver coated ceramic tile backsplash.

In the Cafeteria and self-preparation areas, we covered walls, floor to ceiling, with 6" x 12" white glazed tiles, and special lettering was used at designated locations such as the pizzeria, Asian Spot , and the organic section.

On the bathroom area, walls were surfaced with a 12" x 24" porcelain tile color in order to create harmony with the 24" x 24" print designed porcelain tiles that were installed on the floors. We try to set the standard for the best ceramic and stone company in NYC for every project we take on.
